Intended Use

The intended purpose of the University of Miami's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Report Catalog is to encourage independent discovery and utilization of existing reports and materials at the disposal of UM Finance and Budget employees. It focuses on content and processes that generally impact all tool users in their day-to-day responsibilities.

Examples of what this tool is intended to do:
  • Provide direct access to materials that encourage self-serviceability of FP&A tools by all users.
  • Catalog and increase ease-of-access to frequently used reports, panels, and dashboards that exist across Workday, Tidemark, and the Enterprise BI tool.
Examples of what this tool is not intended to do:
  • Serve as a catalog of all existing FP&A reports.
  • Facilitate customer service inquiries and requests for new reports.
